We look to follow-up Tuesday's success with a 7/1 four-fold!
Duisburg v FC Koln - 2. Bundesliga - 17:30
2. Bundesliga leaders Koln are set to make a swift return to Germany’s top-tier. Markus Anfang’s men are nine points clear of third-place Union Berlin, and have won six consecutive league matches.
I’m backing them to breeze past Duisburg, who sit bottom of the league with 10 defeats in their 13 home matches.
Hull v Wigan - Championship - 19:45
Despite their truly abhorrent away form—15 defeats from 20—Wigan’s 93rd minute equaliser at Ashton Gate scuppered any chances of last Saturday’s acca landing.
But I don’t see lightning striking twice, which is why I’m backing them to lose against Hull at the KCOM.
The Tigers have been excellent at home since the December—winning eight and drawing the other two—and 6/5 is a good price for them to overcome this travel-sick Wigan side.
Norwich v Reading - Championship - 19:45
Norwich City look absolutely unstoppable, and there is surely no way both Leeds and Sheffield United can catch them now; I’m backing them take another giant step towards the Premier League with a victory over Reading on Wednesday.
The Canaries have won eight in-a-row, and Daniel Farke will not allow them to let things slip so close to the finishing line.
Reading are on a fairly decent run of form, but don’t have anything which will scare Norwich.
This’ll be a comfortable home win.
Man Utd v Barcelona - Champions League - 20:00
Finally, I’m backing Barcelona to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford.
It’s not fair to say Lionel Messi is in incredible form, simply because he’s always incredible—he’s just being his usual, perfect self. And he’ll tear United’s hapless defenders to shreds, you just watch.
Barca are my favourites for the Champions League this season, and I can see them doing to United what PSG did—in the first-leg, anyway.
United have done well to get this far, but it’s now surely the end of the road.
