Goalkeepers look away - it's time for a 6/1 BTTS treble!
Southampton v Wolves
Only Manchester United have seen both teams score in more home games than Southampton. The Saints have a 75% BTTS rate at St. Mary’s, and I’m expecting their clash with Wolves to meet the same fate.
Only Fulham have failed to score against Southampton in their last 11 home games, while Wolves have conceded goals in their last 12 on the road.
Ipswich v Birmingham
Ipswich Town are absolutely dreadful, and are on the brink of having the inevitability of relegation confirmed, but I do believe their clash with Birmingham City will see both teams score.
65% of Town’s home games have seen both teams score, and they’ve only failed to score twice in their last 13 at Portman Road.
Garry Monk’s men have a healthy 60% BTTS rate on the road, and have scored 22 goals in their last 12 away games – keeping just two clean sheets during that time.
Sunderland v Coventry
Sunderland are League One’s most prolific BTTS candidates by some distance. 75% of The Black Cats’ home games have seen both teams score, and I expect that number to rise following their huge match against Coventry on Saturday.
The visitors are a solid BTTS bet on the road—with 60% of their away games seeing goals at both ends—making this match looks a great prospect.
Incredibly, Sunderland have failed to score just once all season, though just five clean sheets in their 20 home games will give Coventry plenty of encouragement.
The Sky Blues have netted in their last eight on the road, so there’s a good chance they’ll do so once again.
