We have a colossal 30/1 five-fold for you this Saturday!
Fulham v Everton
Fulham have lost all-but one Premier League match in 2019, and I don’t see their relegation sparking any sort of improvement.
It’s been a disaster from start to finish, and while Everton’s season hasn’t exactly been plain sailing, three consecutive victories heading into this has certainly eased the pressure on Marco Silva.
Everton absolutely battered Arsenal last weekend—despite only winning 1-0—and three away victories from their last five convinces me they’ll beat Fulham.
Brighton v Bournemouth
Brighton simply must win this game – and I think they will.
The Seagulls’ form at The Amex has been patchy of late, but when they really need a result, Chris Hughton’s side generally deliver.
The Cherries are absolutely atrocious travellers—losing 10 of their last 11 away games (failing to score six times in the process)—presenting this as a massive opportunity for Brighton.
11/8 is a really good price for Albion to win at home, particularly because Bournemouth are clearly on the beach.
Derby v Bolton
This one is surely a banker.
Derby’s defeat at Blackburn on Tuesday dented their play-off hopes, but you simply cannot see points being dropped against a Bolton side who have lost 12 of their last 16 matches.
Frank Lampard’s men are hardly the pillar of consistency, but this is a lovely fixture to play towards the business end of the season.
Derby to win fairly comfortably.
Reading v Brentford
Now, here’s the real value pick.
Reading may be battling relegation, but there’s no way they should be 11/5 to beat Brentford at home.
The Royals fought to a thrilling 2-2 draw against Championship leaders Norwich at Carrow Road on Wednesday, and it’s looking like Jose Gomes will keep them up. Four wins from their last seven at home is a pretty solid return, and they’ll believe they have what it takes to beat a Brentford side with four defeats from their last six on the road.
It’s a riskier pick than usual, but I reckon it’s worth it.
Lincoln v Cheltenham
Lincoln are a whisker away from promotion to League One, and victory over Cheltenham on Saturday will confirm this inevitability.
The Imps are unbeaten since Boxing Day, and I simply cannot envisage mid-table Cheltenham getting anything here.
It’s true that The Robins are in decent form—winning three of their last five—but most of their joy has come at home; six defeats from their last seven on the road is the main reason as to why Lincoln will win and seal promotion.
