There's plenty of variety in this 9/1 four-fold!
Lazio v Udinese - Serie A - 18:00
Lazio have beaten Udinese in their last four home matches against them, and I’m predicting exactly the same result on Wednesday.
The hosts are going through a slightly sticky spell in the league, but 10 points from their last four at Stadio Olimpico is still a very solid return.
It’s been a miserable season of travelling for Udinese, who have won just a single point from their last six away games.
It might be fairly tight, but Lazio should get the job done.
Hannover II v Lubeck - German Regionalliga North - 18:30
There isn’t a great deal of football on Wednesday—apart from the Champions League, of course—so I’ve had to search far and wide for some value.
This value comes in the regionally-split German fourth-tier, where I’m backing high-flying Lubeck to beat Hannover II in the North division.
Lubeck have won their last nine league matches and, incredibly, have registered six consecutive away wins without conceding once.
Hannover II have lost two of their last three, and while they’re by no means a poor side, Lubeck’s quality should still shine through.
Bonner SC v SV Lippstadt 08 - German Regionalliga West - 18:30
Staying in the German Regionalliga, though this time in the West division, I’m backing Bonner to beat Lippstadt at home.
Lippstadt are really poor travellers—losing six of their last seven away from home—while Bonner have won four of their last five on home soil.
11/10 looks like decent value here.
Porto v Liverpool - Champions League - 20:00
Liverpool are decent value at 23/20 to beat Porto in their Champions League second-leg.
They’ve not always been convincing on the road, and they don’t necessarily need to win on Wednesday, but Porto’s necessity to chase the game will play right into Jurgen Klopp’s hands.
It won’t be nearly as comfortable as many Liverpool victories we’ve seen this season, but I do still expect Klopp’s boys to win on the night.
