Sunday's BTTS offering is priced at 7/1!
Empoli v Torino - Serie A - 14:00
Torino have only conceded 32 goals this season, but I expect their trip to entertaining, relegation-battling Empoli to see both teams score.
Both teams have found the net in 67% of Empoli’s home matches, and with goals in 13 of their last 14 at Stadio Carlo Castellani, I’d back them to find a way past a stubborn Torino defence.
That said, Empoli have kept just two home clean sheets since the opening day of the season, and a shut-out on Sunday doesn’t look feasible.
Bielefeld v Holstein Kiel - 2. Bundesliga - 14:30
Three 2. Bundesliga matches next, starting with Arminia Bielefeld v Holstein Kiel.
These two sides offer cracking BTTS prospects, with 70% and 67% of Bielefeld and Kiel’s matches respectively seeing the net bulge at both ends.
In this battle between two mid-table sides—who score and concede plenty—with nothing to play for, we could see a couple of fireworks.
Regensburg v Sandhausen - 2. Bundesliga - 14:30
19 goals have been scored in total during Jahn Regensburg’s last three matches, and we should expect both teams to score in their face-off with struggling Sandhausen.
The visitors are certainly no strangers to action either—with a whopping 75% BTTS-rate away from home—and it’s hard to see them firing a blank against a defence who have conceded 10 goals in their last three at Continental Arena.
BTTS looks a strong prospect.
Darmstadt v Aue - 2. Bundesliga - 14:30
Darmstadt and Aue have a 63% BTTS-rate home and away respectively – I expect that number to rise come full-time on Sunday.
The hosts have kept just two clean sheets in their last 10 at Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor, while both teams have scored in five of Aue’s last six on the road.
Juventus v Atalanta - Serie A - 19:30
We return to Italy for the evening kick-off, where I expect Juventus v Atalanta to provide us with plenty of action.
Juve have won just one of their last seven games, and haven’t kept a clean sheet since March. Can they shut out an Atalanta side with 73 Serie A goals under their belt this season (the most in the league)? Nope.
67% of Atalanta’s away games have seen both teams score, and this one will too.
