Get stuck into this cheeky 19/1 Premier League treble!
Brighton v West Ham
Brighton were outstanding in their opener against Watford, with Graham Potter’s style of football already taking effect.
I’m not suggesting they’ll be world beaters, but Albion have a great record against West Ham, winning three and drawing one of their last four meetings. There’s no shame in the Hammers losing their opener 5-0 to Manchester City, but the Amex will be buoyant and expectant, and I do think 8/5 does seem long for Albion to secure a third straight home victory against West Ham.
Aston Villa v Bournemouth
Next, I have Aston Villa to beat Bournemouth at home.
I thought Dean Smith’s men were impressive in their tough opener against Spurs, while Eddie Howe’s men conceded late to draw at home to Sheffield United.
17/10 looks very backable considering Bournemouth lost 13 of their 19 away games last season, while conceding at least twice in their last 14 on the road in the Prem.
Villa Park will be a tough place to visit this season, and the Cherries will be the first to find that out.
Norwich v Newcastle
Another newly-promoted side next: I have Norwich beating Newcastle at home.
The Canaries were valiant in defeat at Anfield last Friday, and still managed to finish their match with an xG twice as high as Newcastle, who lost at against Arsenal.
I must say this is a fairly tough one to call, but Norwich have bags of goals in them—after scoring 93 times last season—and I don’t believe Steve Bruce’s side have enough to counteract that.
This is another selection where I’ve gone for a slightly longer price, but just like the Villa-Bournemouth game, the home side are still the ones to watch.
