Will this 6/1 treble prove lucky?
Norrkoping v AFC Eskilstuna - Swedish Allsvenskan - 18:00
Kicking-off this acca I have a couple of handicaps in Sweden, the first being Norrkoping to beat AFC Eskilstuna with a -1 handicap.
The hosts have won their last six home matches—the last five being by two goals or more, and all accompanied by clean sheets—while Eskilstuna are second-bottom of the league, with 10 defeats from their 12 away games.
Norrkoping are used to dishing out hammerings at home, and it’ll surely be no different on Thursday.
Malmo FF v Helsingborg - Swedish Allsvenskan 18:00
Next, I’m backing second-place Malmo to beat mid-table Helsingborg with a -1 handicap.
This is an absolutely must-win for the hosts, who have won nine of their 12 at home, and with three of their last four victories in the league coming by a margin of at least three goals, this looks like a goer.
Helsingborg have a rotten away record – losing eight times and scoring just seven goals, and this has the makings of another miserable trip.
Real Sociedad v Alaves - La Liga - 20:00
Finally, I’m backing in-form Real Sociedad to overcome Alaves in Spain.
The Basque outfit have won three of their last four in the league—including a fantastic victory over Atletico Madrid—and they look solid enough to get the better of an Alaves side who have stumbled to back-to-back defeats heading into this.
This one will be nip-and-tuck, but Sociedad should have the tools to beat the league’s joint-lowest scorers on home soil.
