Kosovo v Montenegro - 19:45
Czech Republic’s shock victory against England dealt a huge blow to Kosovo’s Euro 2020 qualification hopes, and they simply must beat Montenegro at home to remain in the hunt for the top two.
The hosts didn’t disgrace themselves during their bizarre 5-3 defeat to England, and while some of their defending was pretty slapstick, there’s a reason why they’ve lost just one of their last 17 matches.
Kosovo drew 1-1 with Montenegro in the away fixture, but I’m backing them to go one better on Monday. Montenegro haven’t scored in three games, and have just three points all campaign; this is Kosovo’s to lose.
Moldova v Albania - 19:45
After humiliatingly losing to Andorra on Friday, I expect Moldova to also fall to a defeat at home to Albania.
Albania have won three of their seven qualifiers—which is a pretty impressive return—including a 2-0 win over Moldova back in June.
Scoring just twice and conceding 18, Moldova are nothing short of dreadful, and Albania will go into this one full of confidence.
Ukraine v Portugal - 19:45
Finally, I’m backing Ukraine to avoid defeat at home to Portugal.
The Ukrainians sit five points above their visitors having played a game more, and anything other than a Portugal win here brings Serbia back into qualifying contention.
Both teams are very hard to beat: since September 2018, we’ve seen just one defeat in Ukraine and Portugal’s 21 collective matches (Ukraine losing away in Slovakia during their Nations League campaign).
Portugal are perhaps slightly the stronger side, but Ukraine’s home advantage will see them secure at least a draw.
