Wolves v Southampton

After their incredible win at The Etihad, Wolves come into this clash with Southampton full of confidence, and they look a decent bet to do the business. Nuno’s men had a sticky start to the season, but their three consecutive victories in all competitions is evidence of a good recovery.

The Saints look in bigger bother, having lost their last three – conceding nine times. They were defeated 2-1 by Spurs in their last away game—despite the hosts playing with 10 men for over an hour—and I’m not hopeful they’ll better that at Molineux

Wolves won this fixture 2-0 last season, and I’m tipping another home win on Saturday.

Wolves - 1pt @ 5/6

Bournemouth v Norwich

Bournemouth to beat Norwich at home is next.

The Canaries have certainly had an interesting return to the Premier League, but at the end of the day, they’ve still lost five of their last six matches (the one win against Manchester City an ever so slight anomaly).

Daniel Farke’s men have conceded a whopping 21 goals already, but while they’ve found the net with regularity at Carrow Road, they’ve scored just once in their four away games – losing every single one.

The Cherries have been characteristically unpredictable, but they’ve lost just one of their last four matches (winning two), and simply have too much creativity and panache to be troubled too much by a Norwich side who can’t buy an away goal.

Things will start clicking for the Cherries at The Vitality soon enough, and it might just be this weekend.

Bournemouth - 1pt @ 4/5

Leicester v Burnley

Finally, I have Leicester beating Burnley at home and under 3.5 goals to be scored.

We’ve seen under 3.5 goals in the last seven meetings between the sides, so that part of the bet I’m happy with.

As for the result, it’s clear that Leicester now belong in the conversation about who finishes in the top four this season. Brendan Rodgers’ side, since their opening day goalless draw against Wolves, have dispatched Bournemouth, Spurs and Newcastle at the King Power, and while this may be more of a slog, they have what it takes to break down this Burnley side.

The Clarets are unbeaten in four matches, but that run will be ending on Saturday. After losing to Arsenal in their first away game, Burnley have drawn with Wolves, Brighton and Aston Villa, but this Leicester side are so complete, and odds-against for a home win and under 3.5 goals seems too good to turn down.
