Expect plenty of goals with this 9/1 BTTS four-fold!
Doncaster v Burton - League One
Only three League One sides have seen more games end with both teams scoring this season than Doncaster, and I’m backing their game with Burton to continue this trend.
The Brewers are a more interesting side in this respect: despite not a single one of their home games ending with both teams scoring, they have an incredibly healthy BTTS-rate on the road (71%).
Nigel Clough’s men have scored seven goals in their last four away games, yet they’ve shipped 11 in their seven outings, keeping clean sheets only against goal-shy Shrewsbury and MK Dons.
AFC Wimbledon v Lincoln - League One
AFC Wimbledon are the ultimate League One BTTS selection. Possessing a titanic 80% BTTS-rate, the Dons’ clash with Lincoln looks a solid pick.
The visitors have an atrocious away record, earning just one point from their last seven away games, but five of them have seen both teams score.
Only four sides have conceded more than Wimbledon in the league, so this should be an open affair.
Bradford v Exeter - League Two
Down in League Two, Bradford v Exeter is a really solid BTTS selection.
Only Crawley and Port Vale have had more BTTS matches than the Bantams this campaign, while Exeter’s BTTS-rate on the road stands at a healthy 63%.
Furthermore, most of Bradford’s matches where both teams scored occurred early in the season; in their last 10 games, a clean sheet has been kept at either end just once.
Exeter have scored in five of their last six away games, which is why I like this one.
Crewe v Port Vale - League Two
Last but not least, I have both teams scoring in Crewe v the aforementioned Port Vale.
The top-of-the-table Railwaymen sport a very appealing 67% BTTS-rate, while Vale’s number is a tasty 69%.
Away from home, the numbers are even better: six of Port Vale’s nine on the road have been bereft of clean sheets, and their run of just one defeat in seven shows they’re capable of troubling the leaders.
