Turkey v Iceland - 17:00

Group H leaders Turkey are on the brink of qualification for Euro 2020, and victory over Iceland on Thursday will seal their fate.

Turkey have been sensational this campaign, and four home wins without conceding (including a triumph over France) is why they’re my pick to beat Iceland.

The visitors did beat Turkey 2-1 on home soil back in June, but they’ve lost their last two away games against France and Albania—conceding four goals on both occasions—so a home win, and qualification, is the value play here.

Turkey - 1pt @ 4/5

England v Montenegro - 19:45

England to beat Montenegro at Wembley with a -2 handicap is my next selection.

I don’t expect Raheem Sterling’s absence to impact the scale of England’s expected victory too much, as this poor Montenegro side are winless in qualifying, with three of their four defeats coming by margins of at least three goals.

England beat Montenegro 5-1 away from home, while also demolishing Czech Republic at home and Bulgaria a couple of times during the campaign.

England -2 - 1pt @ 9/13

Czech Republic v Kosovo - 19:45

Both teams to score at evens looks a decent price in the huge clash between Czech Republic and Kosovo.

This fixture ended 2-1 in Kosovo’s favour a couple of months ago, and only Montenegro have failed to score against Czech Republic in qualifying.

Indeed, Kosovo’s recent 2-0 victory against Montenegro is the only one of their six qualifiers which hasn’t seem both teams score.

With little to separate the sides, and not a single clean sheet between them against anone who isn’t Montenegro, suggests evens for BTTS is a little generous.
