Wales v Hungary - 19:45

Wales’ clash with Hungary is titanic: a victory sees the Welsh qualify for Euro 2020, a draw leaves the door open for Slovakia (should they beat Azerbaijan), and an away win will be enough for Hungary.

It’s been a tough slog for Ryan Giggs’ men—with a number of highly-competitive matches seeing Group E go right down to the wire—but ultimately I believe they’ll win on Tuesday and pip the Hungarians to the post.

At home Wales have won two and drawn one (against Croatia), while Hungary, though very good on home soil themselves, have only managed to earn away points against Azerbaijan.

Hungary’s fairly conclusive away defeats against Slovakia and Croatia suggests Wales have the edge ahead of this qualification shoot-out.

Wales - 1pt @ 8/11

North Macedonia v Israel - 19:45

North Macedonia looks like great value against Israel at home.

The two sides drew 1-1 in Israel, and with home victories already secured against Latvia and Slovenia, the North Macedonians do look a pretty decent prospect in Skopje.

Israel have lost three consecutive away qualifiers—conceding 10 goals—which is why I’m tempted by the 31/20 for a home win.

North Macedonia - 1pt @ 31/20

Latvia v Austria - 19:45

Latvia are a shockingly bad side, and I expect Austria to beat them with a -1 handicap.

The Latvians have lost all nine of their qualifiers—scoring twice and conceding a whopping 28—and I’d be amazed if Austria don’t put them to the sword.

The visitors have already hammered Latvia 6-0, and other big wins against North Macedonia and Israel this campaign should see them win this comfortably.
