Besiktas v Kayserispor - Turkish Super Lig - 17:00

After a really poor start, Besiktas have finally pulled their finger out domestically; they now have four straight victories, and I’m backing them to beat bottom side Kayserispor with a -1 handicap.

The last two meetings between these two at Vodafone Park have ended 2-0 to the hosts, and the visitors come into this having lost five of their last seven.

Furthermore, three of Kayserispor’s last four defeats have come by margins of at least three goals, so this looks to be a solid pick.

Besiktas -1 - 1pt @ 8/11

Porto v Pacos Ferreira - Portuguese Primeira Liga - 20:45

My Portuguese pick has a similar look to it: 2nd place Porto to beat second-bottom Pacos de Ferreira with a -2 handicap.

The visitors have scored just seven goals in their 11 matches, while Porto have not conceded a single goal at home – which already makes 8/5 tempting.

Azuis e brancos have also won these five home games (three by a margin of at least three goals), while the visitors have fired blanks in three of their five on the road, earning just a single point.

Benfica hammered them 5-0 on the opening day, and there’s little to suggest we won’t see a similarly dominant scoreline against Porto.
