Enjoy the midweek Premier League action with this 10/1 treble!
Leicester v Watford - 19:30
Kicking-off this tasty midweek Premier League acca, I have Leicester beating lowly Watford to nil.
The Foxes have won their last seven matches in all competitions, while the Hornets come into this after a hugely morale-damaging defeat at relegation rivals Southampton, and now sit six points from safety.
Furthermore, despite Everton ending Leicester’s run of three clean sheets, Watford are the lowest scoring side in the division (nine goals from 14), and I struggle to see how they lay a glove on such an accomplished Leicester side.
Man Utd v Tottenham - 19:30
This next selection should be a tasty affair: Spurs to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford.
All eyes will of course be on Jose Mourinho for his return to Manchester, and he’s going to channel all of this into making sure Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is condemned to yet another defeat.
Spurs won this fixture 3-0 last season—ending a long run of United dominance against them at home—and considering Ole’s won just two of his last nine Premier League games, you have to favour the rejuvenated visitors.
They may have done it the hard way, but three wins from Mourinho’s first three matches is still impressive considering the mess Spurs were in before his arrival, and in my eyes the only way is up.
United were held to a home draw against struggling Aston Villa last time out, and at 8/5 I fancy them to succumb against Jose’s revitalised Tottenham on Wednesday.
Chelsea v Aston Villa - 19:30
Finally, I’m backing both teams to score in Chelsea v Aston Villa.
Chelsea, despite their impressive season to date, have kept just three clean sheets, and I can’t see them keeping another against a Villa side who certainly know where the goal is.
After sticking a couple past Manchester United at Old Trafford, Dean Smith’s men have now failed to score on the road just twice – once against Man City and once against Crystal Palace where they played 35 minutes with 10 men.
Only five sides have scored more than Aston Villa, but only Newcastle have conceded more away goals; BTTS looks a solid option.
