Wigan v West Brom - 19:45

My first pick won’t raise too many eyebrows: West Brom to beat Wigan away from home.

Slaven Bilic’s side are sitting handsomely at the top of the Championship, and are now on a run of six straight victories. Furthermore, they’ve won four on-the-trot away from home, which is why they’re a great price to beat the floundering Latics.

Paul Cook’s men, on the other end of the spectrum, have just two points from their last eight games, and are being absolutely killed by a string of late goal concessions.

I suspect it won’t be close enough for that to matter this time – the Baggies win this fairly comfortably.

West Brom - 1pt @ 4/6

Birmingham v QPR - 19:45

Next, I believe Birmingham take the points against QPR at St. Andrew’s.

QPR ended a run of seven without a victory against free-falling Preston on Saturday, but with just one point from their last three on the road, this’ll still be a huge challenge for Mark Warburton’s men.

City are unbeaten in four, and have taken maximum points from five of their last eight home games.

You get the sense things are slowly starting to click for Birmingham under Pep Clotet, and 7/5 for a home win against an imminently beatable QPR is good value.

Birmingham - 1pt @ 7/5

Swansea v Blackburn - 19:45

Finally, I have a longer price: Blackburn to beat Swansea at The Liberty.

After a brilliant start to the season, Swansea are starting to lose the plot under Steve Cooper; five without a win now, including a 5-1 drubbing against West Brom last time out, has seen the Swans slip to 11th.

The problems at home have been present for even longer: since the end of August, Swansea have lost five of their seven at The Liberty, which doesn’t bode well for the arrival of Blackburn.

Tony Mowbray’s men have won five of their last six—losing only to Leeds—and they’ll be brimming with confidence as they head to South Wales.
