Football expert Ryan Elliott has a 3/1 accumulator for Saturday's action in Germany.
Holstein Kiel v Wehen - 2. Bundesliga - 12:00
Saturday’s double kicks-off in the German second division, where I fancy Holstein Kiel to beat struggling Wehen.
The hosts showed brilliant resolve to come back late against Hamburg on Monday, where they drew 3-3, while they’ve also played the other two members of the top three since the league’s resumption – beating Stuttgart and narrowly losing to leaders Arminia Bielefeld.
Wehen have lost four games on the spin—conceding eight goals during this period—which is why I believe odds-against for a home win is generous.
Hertha Berlin v Eintracht Frankfurt - Bundesliga - 14:30
Next, I’m confident Hertha Berlin beat Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
Hertha have been outstanding under Bruno Labbadia—winning three of their last five games, dropping points only against Leipzig and Dortmund—while Frankfurt have woefully inconsistent.
Back-to-back wins a couple of weeks ago pretty much solidified safety for Adi Hutter’s men, but their last result, a home defeat to a Mainz side who previously couldn’t buy a win, shows that there is still serious work to do.
The hosts have been playing with real swagger of late, and once again I feel odds-against is well worth taking in this one.
