Football expert Ryan Elliott has lined up a 4/1 treble for Tuesday's action!
Greuther Furth v Heidenheim - 2. Bundesliga - 17:30
The 2. Bundesliga’s promotion battle is absolutely fascinating this season, with inconsistent Hamburg and Stuttgart battling it out with minnows Heidehiem to secure top-flight football next season, and with just two points separating 2nd and 4th with three games left, we are in for a grandstand finish.
On Tuesday, I’m backing Heidenheim to secure a huge victory to maintain the pressure on the two giants above them and beat Greuther Furth.
Furth finally won their first game back after postponement on Saturday against a poor Nurnberg side, but I believe Heidenheim—with three wins from their last five—are great value at 5/4 to build on their 4-1 win against a good Jahn Regensburg outfit and win again.
It would be an unbelievable story if Heidenheim ended up being promoted, and a victory against a fairly out-of-sorts Furth outfit will be a giant leap towards this dream.
Villarreal v Mallorca - La Liga - 18:30
Spanish football is also back, and I’m backing Villarreal to beat Mallorca at home.
Villarreal left it late to beat Celta Vigo 1-0 in their opener, while Mallorca were hammered by Barcelona, which means they now have the worst defence in the entire league.
Add to this the fact that only Barcelona, Real Madrid and Real Sociedad have scored more this season that Villarreal, and you have a really good chance for Javier Calleja’s men to secure three points and push further towards European qualification.
Werder Bremen v Bayern Munich - Bundesliga - 19:30
Finally, I’m confident about Bayern beating Werder Bremen with a -1 handicap.
Bayern look nigh-unstoppable under Hansi Flick, and while Bremen have somewhat sorted their house out recently, winning two of their last four and giving themselves a serious shot of staying up, the goalscoring might of Bayern will prove too much.
Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski return from suspension, and knowing a victory secures them the title, Bayern will be in no mood for messing around.
A heavy away win looks inevitable.
