Bristol City v Stoke - Championship - 17:00

I have something special lined up for you this Wednesday – a lovely longshot double!

First up, I’m backing Bristol City, who are bafflingly underdogs against Stoke.

The Potters have won two of their last three games, pulling away from danger in the process, but these victories still came against struggling Barnsley and an appalling Birmingham side. They’ve still been hammered by Leeds and Wigan away from home since the break, which is important to note, while also succumbing to Middlesbrough.

The Robins, since sacking Lee Johnson, have won back-to-back games, and are still in with a shout of reaching the play-offs. Considering they’re playing at home, they’ve won consecutive games and they’re significantly higher than Stoke in the table, it’s madness how they’re underdogs.

Backing the hosts at 2/1 against a Potters side who are always just around the corner from a disastrous result is too good to turn down.

Birmingham v Charlton - Championship - 18:00

At another big price, I’m backing Charlton to beat Birmingham.

The Addicks have lost three straight games now (albeit narrowly), and are just a point above the drop, but I’m backing them to register a huge win against Birmingham, priced at a delicious 23/10.

While Charlton are struggling, Birmingham are 100% on the beach—despite now slipping towards a genuine relegation battle—and four straight defeats, with three coming by at least two goals, is less than impressive.

Birmingham have already lost to poor Stoke and Huddersfield sides since the restart, and Charlton, while limited in terms of quality, have shown all throughout the season they have bags of heart, and I’m backing them to upset the odds and win this game.
