Bournemouth v Southampton - Premier League - 14:00

While this is a fixture that means everything to Bournemouth and pretty much nothing to Southampton, I’m backing the visitors to win at almost 2/1.

The Saints, despite making a raft of chances, were very good against Brighton on Thursday, but it’s their away form which has swayed me in this. While their home record is the second-worst in the league, on the road they’re bettered only by Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea, which is seriously impressive.

Bournemouth were also very impressive in their pretty unlucky defeat against Man City, but while positives can be taken from their performance, results are the only things which matter to Eddie Howe at this stage.

Combining Southampton’s away record, their superior quality, the very generous price and the fact that Bournemouth will eventually have to start taking chances as the minutes tick away, I’m backing the visitors.

Southampton - 1pt @ 19/10

Parma v Sampdoria - Serie A - 16:15

Into Serie A next, where I’m backing in-form Sampdoria to beat a Parma outfit in freefall.

Despite still being below Parma in the table, Sampdoria have won four of their last five games, losing only to a very, very strong Atalanta side.

Parma haven’t fared quite so well since the restart. Just one point from their last six games—conceding 14 during this time—is why I’m happy backing the visitors at 33/20 in this treble.

Sampdoria - 1pt @ 17/10

Osasuna v Mallorca - La Liga - 0:00

My final selection is for Osasuna to claim three points against Mallorca.

The hosts, fresh off the back of a brilliant win at Camp Nou, have triumphed in five of their seven games since the restart.

As for Mallorca, they’ve now lost seven of their last 10, and on the road they’ve been utterly abysmal – losing 15 of their 18 away games this campaign.

I’m confident about Osasuna’s chances.
