Reading v Swansea - Championship - 19:30

The equation for Swansea on Wednesday is simple: beat Reading and hope Cardiff lose to Hull to qualify for the play-offs.

Of course, the situation is very much out of Steve Cooper’s hands, so all he can do it put the pressure on Cardiff—preferably by scoring an early goal—by beating Reading.

The Royals, who secured survival some time ago, have lost back-to-back matches against Middlesbrough and Blackburn, and it seems like their season is somewhat petering out.

The Swans, on the other hand, have won three of their last five, and with so much more on the line than Reading, they look a decent price on Wednesday to secure the points.

Liverpool v Chelsea - Premier League - 20:15

Next, I have Chelsea winning or drawing in a double chance at Anfield.

Since becoming champions, Liverpool have won just two of their five Premier League games, with Man City, Arsenal and Burnley all taking points off them.

Chelsea obviously have much more to play for, and with four wins from their last five in all competitions, and the carrot of Champions League qualification dangling in front of them, I back them to get a result.

Liverpool have won just two of their last nine matches against Chelsea (after 90 minutes), and another Chelsea result on Wednesday looks the most likely outcome.
