Saturday's football betting tips include a cheeky 5/1 Premier League acca picked by expert Ryan Elliott.
Brighton v Man Utd - 12:30
Ryan Elliott brings you weekly football predictions, tips and analysis on oddschecker.
Brighton vs Man Utd is generally a pretty entertaining game; The Seagulls have won two of their last three encounters at The Amex, with eight goals in total scored in the last two.
On Saturday, I’m backing both teams to score. Brighton dismantled Newcastle last time out, and played very well against Chelsea, and can count themselves unfortunate to lose 3-1.
United, on the other hand, lost to Crystal Palace, and while they still have the firepower to win the game, the fluidity with which Brighton have started the season gives me confidence that they’ll have joy in front of goal.
West Brom v Chelsea - 17:30
I’m also backing both teams to score as West Brom face Chelsea, at a very decent price.
The Baggies were really impressive against Everton before their untimely red card, carving them apart almost at will. Of course, the challenge against Chelsea will be a significantly tougher one, but I have confidence they’ll score.
Frank Lampard’s men haven’t convinced in either of their first two games, and defensively the same issues seem to remain, although Edouard Mendy likely inclusion will possibly help matters.
Chelsea kept just one away clean sheet over the course of last season, and while West Brom’s defence hardly looks stellar itself, I have a feeling they’ll cause Chelsea more problems than many will think.
Burnley v Southampton - 20:00
Finally, backing a Burnley win/draw double chance at home to Southampton looks like great value.
While the Clarets fell 4-2 to Leicester in their opener, it does seem surprising that the Saints are favourites ahead of this, particularly because they have lost their two opening matches.
Furthermore, Southampton haven’t managed to beat Burnley since 2016, and considering the price of this double chance, another winless afternoon for the Saints is what I’m going for.
