Europa League and Conference League fixtures provide the focus for Thursday's accumulator, with five selections combining for a 10/1 five-fold.

Bayer Leverkusen are backed to win in Poland, while Sunderland are fancied to beat Torreense without conceding. We then move to the goals markets for Union Saint-Gilloise vs Real Sociedad, Benfica vs Celtic and Hearts vs FC Nordsjælland.

Lech Poznan vs Bayer Leverkusen: Leverkusen to win

Bayer Leverkusen are backed to build on their winning Europa League start when they travel to face Lech Poznan on Thursday.

Carles Martínez's side opened the league phase with a 2-0 victory over Celje and arrive in Poland in strong overall form, having won four of their last five matches across all competitions. Their latest outing produced a 4-3 Bundesliga win at Mainz.

Leverkusen's recent record in this competition is particularly impressive. They have won 15 of their last 17 Europa League group-stage or league-phase matches, including each of their last seven, and have averaged 2.4 goals per game across their last 14 Europa League fixtures.

Lech should not be dismissed at home, where they have won seven of nine competitive matches this season, but the step up in European opposition has already been evident. The Polish champions were beaten 4-0 by Crystal Palace on Matchday 1 and have now lost their last four Europa League matches by a combined 12-1 aggregate score.

With Leverkusen carrying superior European pedigree, strong current form and a seven-match winning streak at this stage of the competition, Bayer Leverkusen to win looks a strong opening leg.

Torreense vs Sunderland: Sunderland to win to nil

Sunderland are backed to make their superior quality count against Portuguese second-tier side Torreense, with Sunderland to win to nil offering a more appealing angle than simply taking the short-priced away victory.

Régis Le Bris' side made the perfect start to their Europa League campaign with a 1-0 win over AZ Alkmaar, producing a disciplined defensive performance to secure three points and a clean sheet.

Torreense did produce one of Matchday 1's surprises by beating Lillestrøm 2-1 away from home, but their domestic form has been far less convincing. They sit 15th in Liga Portugal 2 after seven matches, winning only once.

There is also a significant difference in individual quality and squad depth. Torreense will not even have their usual home advantage, with the fixture being staged in Leiria because their own stadium does not meet UEFA requirements.

With Torreense struggling domestically and Sunderland already showing they can control European matches defensively, Sunderland to win to nil makes the second leg.

Union Saint-Gilloise vs Real Sociedad: Over 2.5 Goals

Union Saint-Gilloise and Real Sociedad both arrive in strong attacking form, making Over 2.5 Goals an appealing third selection.

Union opened their Europa League campaign with an impressive 3-0 win at Viktoria Plzen, registering 22 shots and 13 on target. Their wider form is just as encouraging, with the Belgian champions scoring 14 goals across their last five matches while remaining unbeaten during that run.

Real Sociedad's recent games have been even more reliable for goals. They have won their last two La Liga matches 3-2 against Valencia and 3-2 against Deportivo, while their Europa League opener finished in a 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth. That means each of their last five matches has produced at least three goals.

Defensively, La Real have been much less convincing, conceding 11 goals across their last five matches, while Union are averaging close to three goals per game across their latest five outings.

With Union carrying considerable attacking momentum and Sociedad's recent fixtures consistently producing high goal totals, Over 2.5 Goals looks a strong third leg.

Benfica vs Celtic: Benfica Win & Over 2.5 Goals

Benfica are backed to make home advantage count against Celtic, with Benfica to win and Over 2.5 Goals offering more appeal than simply taking the Portuguese side in the match result market.

Marco Silva's side have made a strong start to the season and opened their Europa League campaign with an impressive 2-0 win away at AC Milan. Benfica are also unbeaten at the Estádio da Luz this term, winning six of their seven home matches, with recent victories including 3-1 against Gil Vicente and 2-1 against Estoril.

The attacking numbers are strong enough to support the goals element too. Benfica have scored at least three goals in four competitive matches already this season.

Celtic's European defensive record gives Benfica further encouragement. The Scottish champions were beaten 3-1 at home by Ferencváros on Matchday 1, while they also suffered a 5-1 away defeat to LASK during Champions League qualifying.

With Benfica unbeaten at home, scoring freely and Celtic already showing defensive vulnerability in Europe, Benfica to win and Over 2.5 Goals makes the fourth leg.

Hearts vs FC Nordsjaelland: Both Teams to Score

Hearts and FC Nordsjælland both bring enough attacking threat into Thursday's Conference League clash to make Both Teams to Score the preferred angle.

Hearts arrive in excellent scoring form after thrashing St Mirren 5-0 at Tynecastle last weekend. Wouter Vrancken's side created 18 attempts and an xG figure of 3.43 in that victory, while they have now scored in five consecutive matches.

Nordsjælland should offer plenty going the other way. The Danish side have scored in four of their last five matches, with their only blank coming in a 0-0 draw against OB. Their away fixtures have generally been high scoring, producing 19 goals across their previous five trips.

Hearts also came through two 2-2 draws against Rapid Vienna in Conference League qualifying, highlighting both their attacking threat and vulnerability against European opposition.

With both sides carrying reliable scoring numbers and neither looking particularly suited to shutting the game down, Both Teams to Score completes Thursday's accumulator.
