Tuesday night's football brings together the opening round of Champions League fixtures and another busy night in the Championship, giving us plenty of options for our latest accumulator.
Manchester City provide our Champions League selection as they travel to Porto, while Southampton vs Swansea supplies the goals angle. Wrexham and West Ham complete the 9/1 four-fold with Championship victories against Burnley and Bolton respectively.
LEG 1: Porto vs Man City: Man City to win
Manchester City begin their Champions League campaign in Portugal having made a perfect start to the Premier League season under Enzo Maresca. City have won all three league matches, scoring seven goals and conceding only twice following victories over Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Coventry. Saturday's 1-0 win over Coventry was less emphatic than their previous performances, but it maintained their 100% record and provided a first clean sheet of the campaign.
Erling Haaland has once again been central to that start, scoring in all three Premier League matches. His record in this competition remains extraordinary too, with the Norwegian scoring 57 goals in 58 Champions League appearances and becoming the fastest player in history to reach 50 goals in the competition.
Porto are certainly not opponents to underestimate. Francesco Farioli's side have also made a perfect domestic start, winning all five Liga Portugal matches, scoring 11 goals and conceding only once.
However, their recent record against Premier League opposition provides encouragement for City backers. Porto are winless in their last five matches against English clubs and have won only two of their previous 16 against Premier League opposition.
This represents City's toughest assignment of the season so far, but their perfect domestic start, superior attacking options and Haaland's phenomenal Champions League record make them the opening selection in our Tuesday accumulator.
LEG 2: Southampton vs Swansea: Both Teams to Score
Southampton have been one of the Championship's most reliable sides for Both Teams to Score during the opening weeks. BTTS has landed in all five of their league matches, with Tonda Eckert's side scoring 11 goals but conceding six. Saints are yet to either draw a blank or record a Championship clean sheet.
The trend is even stronger at St Mary's. Southampton have scored eight goals across their first two home Championship matches, beating Stoke 3-1 before thrashing Millwall 5-1.
Throw in their 4-1 Carabao Cup defeat to West Ham and both teams have scored in all three competitive matches at St Mary's this season, with those fixtures producing 15 goals at an average of five per game.
Swansea's defensive form admittedly makes this a more ambitious selection. Vítor Matos' side have conceded just one goal across their first five Championship matches, recording four consecutive clean sheets since beating Stoke 2-1 on the opening weekend.
However, the Swans have also looked dangerous going forward away from home, scoring five goals across two Championship trips following victories of 2-1 at Stoke and 3-0 at Derby. Southampton's 100% Championship BTTS record is difficult to ignore, and Saints should provide Swansea's improving attack with opportunities at the other end.
LEG 3: Wrexham vs Burnley: Wrexham to win
Wrexham are backed to take advantage of Burnley's miserable Championship start when the sides meet at the Racecourse Ground. Phil Parkinson's side have lost only one of their opening five league matches, collecting six points while conceding just four goals.
There are also signs that Wrexham are improving as they adjust to Championship football. Their best performance of the season came in a convincing 3-0 victory at Millwall, before they followed that with a goalless draw at Swansea on Saturday.
They therefore return home following back-to-back clean sheets, collecting four points from two difficult away assignments without conceding. Burnley could hardly arrive in more contrasting form. Nicky Hayen's side sit bottom of the Championship with two points from five matches, scoring six goals while conceding 12.
Their away record is particularly concerning. Trips to West Brom and Norwich have ended in 3-1 and 4-1 defeats respectively, meaning Burnley have conceded seven goals while taking no points from their first two away league fixtures.
The Clarets were also eliminated from the Carabao Cup by League One Bradford and remain without a victory across seven competitive matches this season. Wrexham are still waiting for their first Championship home victory, but their defensive improvement combined with Burnley's problems on the road makes this an excellent opportunity to break that duck.
LEG 4: Bolton vs West Ham: West Ham to win
West Ham look well placed to continue their Championship resurgence after finding another gear over their last two league matches. Nuno Espírito Santo's side have recorded back-to-back victories, beating Wolves 4-2 before cruising past Derby 3-0 on Saturday. The Hammers have scored seven times across those two matches and 11 goals across their opening five Championship fixtures.
Their performance against Derby was particularly encouraging. West Ham registered 11 shots to Derby's one during the first half and generated 1.84 xG before the interval, with Joel Piroe giving them an early lead before Edvin Austbø and Mohamadou Kanté completed the victory. Bolton are moving in the opposite direction. Steven Schumacher's newly-promoted side beat Preston on the opening weekend but are winless in four Championship matches since, losing each of their last three against Lincoln, Sheffield United and Millwall.
Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Millwall was particularly concerning. Bolton conceded three times from the 83rd minute onwards and also saw captain Josh Sheehan sent off, ruling him out of Tuesday's meeting.
Wanderers have now conceded eight goals across their last three league matches, which looks dangerous against a West Ham side finally beginning to translate their individual attacking quality into results.
The Hammers are still searching for their first away league victory after draws at Burnley and Watford, but the momentum has shifted considerably following consecutive wins and seven goals. West Ham are backed to make their superior quality count and complete the accumulator.
