The EV Eagle turns their attention to Tuesday night's La Liga action, where Valencia host Real Betis in their rearranged opening-round fixture at Mestalla.
Both sides have already played once this season. Valencia were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw by Celta Vigo on Saturday, while Real Betis made a winning start with a 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad.
We've picked out three single bets for tonight's game and combined Mouctar Diakhaby to be shown a card, Cucho Hernandez over 2.5 shots and Javi Guerra over 1.5 shots into a longer 10/1 Bet Builder shot.

The first leg focuses on Mouctar Diakhaby, who looks an obvious candidate to enter the referee's notebook if he returns to the Valencia starting XI.
With Justin de Haas among Valencia's reported absentees, Diakhaby is in contention to come into Carlos Corberan's backline, where he could have his hands full against a Betis attack featuring the likes of Antony and Cucho Hernandez.
Diakhaby's disciplinary numbers certainly support the selection. The centre-back collected three yellow cards from only eight La Liga appearances last season, despite spending just 544 minutes on the pitch.
It is part of a much longer trend. Across his Valencia career, Diakhaby has collected 43 yellow cards in 162 league appearances, including 11 bookings from 29 outings in 2021/22 and six from only 14 appearances in 2023/24.
There is another interesting angle in the man holding the whistle. Jon Ander Gonzalez Esteban will referee the game as he makes his La Liga debut after seven seasons in the Segunda Division. He officiated 148 league matches in Spain's second tier, producing 674 yellow cards during that spell.
Against a Betis side likely to put Valencia's defenders under pressure through Antony's dribbling and Cucho's movement through the middle, Diakhaby's established disciplinary record makes him to be shown a card our first Bet Builder selection.

Cucho Hernandez is next up, with over 2.5 shots appealing for Betis' main centre-forward.
The Colombian was one of Pellegrini's most frequent shooters last season, registering 89 attempts across 2,580 La Liga minutes. That works out at just over three attempts per 90 and underlines his status as Betis' focal point in the final third.
His numbers towards the end of the campaign were particularly encouraging for this line. Cucho registered five shots against Elche and four against Levante across two of his final three league appearances.
There were further positive signs in Betis' 1-0 win against Real Sociedad on Friday. Cucho was involved repeatedly after the break, shooting from distance and later forcing another save, while he also provided the assist for Rodrigo Riquelme's winning goal.
Valencia's five-man defensive setup frustrated Celta at the weekend, but Betis offer considerably more individual quality in advanced areas. Antony and Riquelme should stretch the home defence and create space centrally for Cucho to attack.

Guerra's season-long numbers were relatively modest in 2025/26, but there was a notable change in his attacking output towards the end of the campaign as Corberan began giving him greater freedom to advance beyond midfield.
That was particularly evident against Rayo Vallecano in May. Guerra recorded four shots, including two on target, despite playing only 61 minutes, while also providing Valencia's assist in the 1-1 draw.
Three days later, he produced an even bigger performance away at Real Sociedad. Guerra scored twice and registered four shots, the most of any player in the game, as Valencia won 4-3 at Anoeta.
He then carried that scoring threat into the final weekend, finding the net again as Valencia beat champions Barcelona 3-1 at Mestalla.
Guerra therefore ended last season showing far more willingness to attack the box and shoot than his overall campaign numbers suggest.
Valencia offered very little going forward in Saturday's goalless draw with Celta, managing only two efforts on target as a team, so Corberan will be looking for significantly more attacking ambition in front of their own supporters tonight.
