We could be treated to some carnage at Old Trafford.

The sheer unpredictability of both Manchester United and Arsenal always makes for entertaining viewing, and I’m fascinated to see how events will unfold on Monday.

The Gunners have impressed me more than United this season; despite conceding a characteristically high number of goals, they’ve shown enough creativity and endeavour in the final third to make me fairly hopeful of their chances in this one.

As for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men…I don’t really know what side they are, or indeed what side they’re trying to be. Their Carabao Cup performance against Rochdale was borderline embarrassing, and their displays in the Premier League have hardly warranted more than the two victories they’ve earned so far.

Despite Arsenal being winless at Old Trafford in the Premier League since 2006 (a run that will surely come to an end sooner rather than later), I have them winning this match.

It’s been painfully obvious for a while that Ole isn’t a Manchester United-standard manager, and as every dismal performance passes by, the confidence is sapped from the players – and it shows.

United have an injury list as big as Harry Maguire’s head – most worryingly they have no fit senior striker, leaving young Mason Greenwood to lead the line against Arsenal in the Premier League. It’s not a particularly good place to be.

Furthermore, they’ve failed to score more than once in their last five league matches; if United can’t take advantage of Arsenal’s defence, they are toast.

Last season’s encounter was a yellow-card-infested 2-2 draw, but with United seemingly regressing since then and Arsenal…being Arsenal, this is the perfect time for the away side to finally end their Old Trafford hoodoo.

Arsenal - 1pt @ 2/1

11/10 for Aubameyang to have two or more shots on target seems great value.

The Gabonese striker averages 3.3 shots-per-game, while United average 3.83 shots against-per-game.

Only Sergio Aguero and Teemu Pukki have scored more than Aubameyang this season (6), and you can be sure the Arsenal man will be licking his lips at a chance to score his first goal at Old Trafford.
