Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have been pleased with his sides performance midweek against PSG but they ultimately ended up on the losing side and it makes next Tuesday’s game in Leipzig all the more important for the Red Devils. They will garner hope from their terrific away record in the premier league this season though, they have won all 4 road trips this season but have yet to go to any of the big six. This will prove a tricky test too as West Ham are picking up plenty of good results at the minute and currently sit in 6th place in the table.
Credit has to go to David Moyes for striking a balance in his side, even without catalyst Michail Antonio, the Hammers have grinded games out and look to have a settled XI with players who can come in and influence games off the bench. They’ve won 3 and drawn 1 since the opening day defeat to Newcastle and should fancy their chances against a United side whose minds could be elsewhere.
Where is the value?
West Ham | Draw | Man Utd | |
---|---|---|---|
Best Odds | 14/5 | 27/10 | 11/10 |
You would expect the visitors to notch though, they’ve scored in 14/16 in all competitions this season and both teams to score has landed in 5 of their last 6. BTTS is a bit too short at 4/6 but we can get West Ham to avoid defeat alongside BTTS at 13/8 and that’s a punt I’m willing to take a chance on.
