Chelsea v Leeds

1st Selection: Joao Pedro Over 1.5 Fouls Won - 1pt

Best odds of 5/6 with Sky Bet when writing.

João Pedro has been outstanding in the fouls won market for Chelsea in recent weeks. His ability to hold the ball up, turn defenders and drive into space has consistently put opposition backlines under pressure, often leaving them with no option but to foul. He was fouled three times against Wolves at the weekend, winning two penalties, and drew four and five fouls respectively in the previous matches against Arsenal and Napoli. Across the season, Pedro is averaging 2.3 fouls won per 90 minutes for Chelsea and this trend looks well placed to continue against an aggressive Leeds side.

From a goals perspective, Chelsea have scored in all of their last 17 matches in all competitions, while Leeds have seen a goal scored in 22 of their last 23 games. Since the opening-day 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace, Chelsea have avoided a goalless result in 16 consecutive home matches. Having lost 3-1 away at Leeds earlier in the season, Chelsea will also be motivated to respond, particularly given they have scored in each of their last eight home meetings with Leeds at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham v Newcastle

2nd Selection: Simons 2+ Fouls Won + Solanke 1+ Fouls Committed - 1pt

Xavi Simons continues to be one of Tottenham’s most reliable players for fouls won. He is averaging 2.49 fouls won per 90 minutes this season, regularly drawing pressure through his dribbling and close control in congested areas. The selection has landed in each of his last 12 starts for Spurs and he also won four fouls in the reverse fixture against Newcastle at St James’ Park.

Dominic Solanke has been equally dependable in the fouls committed market since returning from injury. He is averaging 2.19 fouls committed per 90 minutes across his four starts, with this line landing in all four. In his two home starts during that run, he committed three fouls against Manchester City and two against Dortmund. Newcastle’s midfield, featuring players such as Lewis Hall, Bruno Guimarães and Sandro Tonali, is particularly effective at drawing fouls, which strengthens the case further.

Everton v Bournemouth

3rd Selection: Dewsbury-Hall Over 1.5 Shots - 1pt

Best odds of 19/20 with BetMGM, 4/5 with bet365.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was deployed in a more advanced attacking midfield role for Everton against Fulham, a change that immediately paid dividends. He attempted two shots and scored an excellent goal, showcasing his confidence and willingness to get involved in attacking phases. He is expected to operate in a similar role against Bournemouth, a side that concedes a high volume of shots, averaging 12.6 per game. Dewsbury-Hall has registered two or more attempts in four of his last five starts for Everton, scoring three goals in that period. His tendency to shoot from range adds further appeal to this selection.

West Ham v Man United

4th Selection: Bowen 2+ Shots + Shaw 1+ Fouls Committed - 1pt

Jarrod Bowen remains West Ham’s primary attacking threat and is averaging 2.4 shots per game in the Premier League this season. He has attempted at least two shots in 11 of his 12 home league appearances and is the club’s leading scorer with eight goals. Bowen is comfortable shooting from both inside and outside the penalty area and recorded four attempts in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford.

Luke Shaw has been exceptionally consistent in the fouls committed market, recording at least one foul in each of his last 16 appearances for Manchester United. He committed three fouls in the reverse meeting with West Ham, receiving a booking, and is likely to be heavily involved again as he lines up against Bowen. Bowen was fouled five times in that earlier fixture, highlighting a strong matchup that supports this angle.
