The first semi-final of the Cesarewitch at 8.01 can go to youngster DROOPYS FLARE in T5. The Doncaster raider bolted up at Sheffield in late December and then in the first round of this competition he recorded a track record 43.87 from off the pace, he's a potential six-bend superstar and with anything like a clear run he will take all the beating this evening.

Droopys Flotilla is a class act but is drawn a little wider than ideal in T4, she will be heading for the rails and lid rise.

At 8.19 in the second semi-final of the 2025 Cesarewtich CHAMPYS GIRL (T1) appeals at a huge 50/1 with Ladbrokes.

The March 23 daughter of Ballymac Cashout caught my eye in the heats last week, following a moderate break she showed nice pace into the corner and was about to turn handy but met serious trouble, she then turned nearer last than first and did well to qualify.

This evening with Head Count (T2) inconsistent at the boxes Champys Girl has a chance to hold the rails and turn with the pace, if that happens its race on at huge odds. Breton Molly (T4) & Alright Gordy (T6) are both class acts and warrant respect.

The third and final semi-final at 8.36 is a watching brief at the prices on offer with Garfiney Blaze a massive odds-on favourite to land the race, if he bolts up again the 2/1 for outright honours could look value.

Elsewhere on the Central Park card one that caught my eye is WHITEWOOD LENNY (T5) in the Arc Sprint Trophy heat at 9.46 over the two-bend 277 metre trip. The Maxine Locke trained Romford raider ran a cracker last week over course and distance on what was his first competitive run since mid-October, that run would have blown away the cobwebs and he should be spot on now and ready to win. Cat Island beat our selection last time out and rates as the danger from T2.

Not So Slow (T3) is worth noting in the market, he started a short-priced favourite against many of these last week but missed the break, if he brings his trapping boots this evening, he would be a huge runner.

8.01 Central Park - DROOPYS FLARE (T5) 1 Point win at 6/4

8.19 Central Park - CHAMPYS GIRL (T1) 0.50 Point win at 50/1

9.46 Central Park – WHITEWOOD LENNY (T5) 1 Point win at 7/1
