Michael Smyth has three greyhound tips for Saturday’s card at Crayford.

Firstly, a little bit of housekeeping with the 2025 Arc Cesarewitch final line up now confirmed. Heat winners Droopys Flare, Head Count & Garfiney Blaze are joined by runners- up Droopys Flotilla, Breton Molly & Bright Jewel. The final takes place next Saturday and it promises to be a cracker. Last night Droopys Flare rewarded those that grabbed the 6/4 & 11/8 on offer throughout the day, she turned handy and hit the front off the fifth bend before powering clear recording a flying 44.25, the quickest time of the night.
This evening, we head to Crayford for a mixed card featuring seven open races. Sadly, this is the final meeting to take place at the venue because doors will close for the final time on Tuesday, a huge loss for the sport. Good luck to all the connections, owners and trainers looking for a new track. Catch the action live on the Attheraces greyhound channel, Sky Sports Racing red button or via bookmaker streaming services.
The first selection for us this evening is hurdler SIGNET HARPER who runs from T5 in the Crayford Grand National 2022-2024 Trophy open races over the four-bend 380 metre trip. The Ricky Holloway trained wide seed is blessed with blistering early pace and if she brings her trapping boots this evening, she can ping the lids and make all. On the bunny Signet Harper is a 23.42 bitch, a repeat of that would see her take this. Harlequin Ernie (T2) and Traceys Sydney (T3) are both in good form at the moment and rate as dangers.

At 8.07 one that's worth noting in the market is lightly raced wide seed KATES DREAM who lines up from T5 for trainer Ricky Holloway. The February 23 daughter of Ballymac Best has kept good company of late in open class races finishing second behind Untold Paanga & Allowdale Cazoo. This represents a drop-in class and she looks the one to beat this evening.
Kates Dream will be looking to lead round and make all, so it's imperative that she gets it
right at the boxes and leads off the second bend, do that and it’s race on.
