Firstly, I'd like to say a massive congratulations to the Maxine Locke kennel and all those connected with Droopys Eunice who won the £10,000 Coral Essex Vase final last night.

This evening, we head to Central Park for the £12,500 Cesarewitch final over the 731 metre trip at the Kent venue.

Catch the action live on the Attheraces greyhound channel, Sky Sports Racing red button or via bookmaker streaming services.

GARFINEY BLAZE who won the 2024 Arc Cesarewtich over course and distance looks well- drawn to land this prize for his connections again. Head Count in T1 isn’t the quickest into stride, if Garfiney Blaze traps in best fashion he can clear that rival and lead off the second bend. Droopys Flare from T3 is the obvious danger. The May 23 daughter of Droopys Sydney broke the track record in the heats of this competition and also won in impressive fashion in the semi-finals.

9.11 Central Park – GARFINEY BLAZE (T2) – 2 Points win at 11/8

At 8.01 in the Arc Novices Stayers open race over the six-bend 664 metre trip I like the look of potential improver GLENHEAD TOM from T4. The December 22 son of Grangeview Ten caught my eye recently in the Arc Maiden Trophy competition over the four-bend trip at this venue. In the first-round heats Tom turned handy and showed impressive middle gears to hit the front and power clear, he looked strong to the drop so this step-up in trip should suit. The key to the race will be the break, if Tom traps well and leads off the second bend his four-bend pace will see him kick clear of the chasing pack.

8.01 Central Park – GLENHEAD TOM (T4) 1 Point win at 11/8

One that could go well at a price this evening is JUMPSTART SARAH who lines up from T6 in the Arc Maiden Trophy at 9.28. Romeo Tomcat will start as a huge odds-on favourite from T3 and rightly so based on his flying trials but in a race featuring five railers he will need a flyer to avoid a bump. Although Jumpstart Sarah is drawn a little wider than normal out in T6 as a middle seed that could work in her favour this evening, she’s capable of a flashy exit as she’s proven in recent graded sprint wins and if she pings the leads this evening she could surprise at decent odds.

9.28 Central Park – JUMPSTART SARAH (T6) 0.5 Point win at 7/1

Over at Hove one that's worth noting in the market is the Derek Knight trained June 23 youngster CRYSTAL PRINCE who runs from T1 in the A10 graded race at 6.26 over the standard four-bend 500 metre trip. Crystal Prince has only run four times and he caught my eye last time out, following a tardy exit he showed nice pace throughout and stayed on well. Today, Prince looks well-drawn to hold the rails and if that happens, he can power clear down the back straight and land this race.

6.26 Hove – CRYSTAL PRINCE (T1) 1.5 Point win at SP
