The first selection today is lightly raced March 23 pup CHAMPYS GIRL who lines up from T1 in the Foster A Greyhound Marathon open at 8.01. Two weeks ago, on the 24th January Champys Girls caught my eye running over course and distance, she was ten lengths down at halfway yet beaten less than two lengths. Tonight, from a rails draw she has a chance to turn handy, if that happens its race on. Bubbly Athena will attempt to make all from T5. The Paul Young trained railer will be looking to ping out and get across from a wider than ideal draw, on the bunny she's a runner in this race.

8.01 Romford – CHAMPYS GIRL (T1) – 1 Point win

A little later look out for INNFIELD FIFI (T3) in the Time Nutrition Maiden Stayers open race at 8.36 over the six-bend 575 metre trip at the London Road venue Romford. The Paul Young trained March 23 daughter of Ballyhimkin Jet ran a cracker last week over course and distance on her Romford debut. Fifi trapped well and was about to lead round when a rival nipped up her inside and gave her a bump, she then turned third around five lengths off the pace, she showed nice middle gears and was closing at the end. Tonight, Fifi looks well-drawn to lead round, on the bunny she will prove hard to beat.

8.36 Romford – INNFIELD FIFI (T3) 1 Point win

TEEJAY BOJANGLES is the third and final selection for us this evening. Although Teejay lacks a competitive run of late (off the track since November) his recent trials over the four-bend 400 metre trip have caught my eye, 24.28 then more recently 24.08 suggests all is well and with a smart exit he can lead round and make all. It’s imperative that Teejay pings the lids and leads round, on the bunny his four-bend pace will see him kick half a dozen clear of the chasing pack.

8.54 Romford – TEEJAY BOJANGLES (T1) 0.50 Point win
