Today we head to Hove with three selections on an ultra-competitive all-graded card. Catch all the action live on Premier Greyhound Racing on Attheraces Greyhounds, or via bookmaker streaming services.

4.16 Hove - ANTIGUA FIFI (T1) - 1 Point win

The A8 graded race at 4.16 over the four-bend 500-metre trip can go to well-drawn railer ANTIGUA FIFI in T1. The Jason Heath-trained September 2021 daughter of Brinkleys Poet looks likely to hold her pitch into the corner and, if that happens, she can turn with the pace and mount a challenge down the back straight. Farout Cian (T3) could be the one to take them along in the early stages, but he will be vulnerable off the final bend.

4.53 Hove

SPORTING BAFTA (T3) - 1 Point

At 4.53 in the A4 graded race over the standard 500-metre distance, SPORTING DAFTA appeals from T3. In recent weeks, the September 2022 son of Droopys Sydney has slipped down the grades and now finds himself in a very winnable race.

Back in July, Sporting Bafta was top A1 grade around the Nevill Road circuit Hove, he’s now in A4. The key to the race is the break and run into the corner. If Sporting Bafta traps well and turns within striking distance, it's race on. Rapido Willow looks the likely leader from T6. She’s won three on the bounce and is worth noting in the market.

5.49 Hove

IMA ROCKET FRAN (T2) - 1.5 Point win

The third and final selection today is IMA ROCKET FRAN who runs from T2 in the A9 graded race at 5.49 from Hove. The Belinda Green-trained railer returns to action this afternoon following a layoff from mid-August.

Last week’s 30.37 course and distance trial reads well and, with a nice draw to work from the daughter of Dorotas Wildcat, looks like the one they all have to beat. Improving youngster Peroni On Ice (T1) is worth noting in the market. He’s won in A11 and A10 grade in recent weeks and would be a runner this afternoon with a level break.
