At 7.27 in heat one of the Maurice Newman Memorial Marathon over the eight-bend 750 metre trip INNFIELD FIFI looks well-drawn to turn handy and hit the front early on.
The Paul Young-trained railer is lightly raced over this marathon trip and is still open to improvement. All eyes on the break here, with a plot draw to work from the key will be holding the rails into the first bend and leading off the second. Fifi has nice middle gears, lead round, and she can skip half a dozen clear of the chasing pack.
Bet 3: 7.44 Romford – GOTHIC KITTY (T5) - 1 Point win
The second heat of the Maurice Newman Memorial Marathon at 7.44 can go to middle seed GOTHIC KITTY from T5.
Well-drawn with three railers and one middle on her inside and a vacant box on her outside, Kitty looks a solid bet this evening.
In recent weeks she’s won three on the bounce over this course and distance, trap well this evening, and she can go in again.
Bet 3: 8.47 Dunstall Park – AERO BECKS (T2) - 0.50 Point win
Over at Dunstall Park in the Premier Greyhound Racing Oaks second-round heats, AERO BECKS looks well-drawn in heat five at 8.47 to lead round and make all.
The Richie Taberner-trained Monmore raider recorded 28.23 over course and distance last week following a 2.97 sectional on first appearance at the Wolverhampton venue Dunstall Park.
A repeat of that will see her go close and, with further improvement likely, she rates as a solid bet.
