All eyes on the London Road circuit Romford this evening with seven open races taking centre stage on an ultra-competitive mixed card.
20:45 Romford
Tip 1: 8.54 Romford – INNFIELD FIFI (T2) - 1 Point win
At 8.54 in the Hrh Romford Retired Greyhounds Marathon, INNFIELD FIFI appeals from a rails draw in T1. The Paul Young-trained March 2023 daughter of Ballyhimikin Jet impressed last week over course and distance when leading off the final bend to break her maiden tag over this 750-metre eight-bend trip.
Ballymac Nova (T3) has won his last two over and would be a huge danger, especially if he leads round. Bright Jewel (T6) finished second in the Category One Cesarewitch at Central Park early this year and is a class act when she gets it right at the boxes.
21:11 Romford
Tip 2: 9.11 Romford – UNDERGROUND FIZZ (T3) – 1 Point win
The Romford Friday Night Maiden Stayers final at 9.11 can go to the Paul Young-trained railer UNDERGROUND FIZZ in T3.

On six-bend debut last week, the October 2023 daughter of Droopys Sydney pinged out and went onto record 35.20 following a smart 13.54 sectional. A repeat of that would see her take this and, with further improvement likely, she looks like the one they all have to beat in this £500 to the winner final.
Stouke Beyonce looks well-drawn in T1 to follow the selection round and could be worth including in forecast bets.
9.11 Romford – UNDERGROUND FIZZ (T3) – 1 Point win at at 4/5
21:46 Romford
Tip 3: 9.46 Romford – CARMAC PETE (T6) - 1 Point
The third and final selection this evening is the Nathan Hunt-trained wide seed CARMAC PETE, who runs from T6 in the Annes 70th Birthday Stakes open race at 9.46 over the six-bend 575-metre trip at the London Road circuit, Romford.
Pete has kept good company of late around his home track Monmore in open race action and when winning in top A1 grade. Tonight, on his return to Romford, he looks well-drawn, and, with a smart exit, Carmac Pete can lead off the second bend and kick for home.
If you go back on Pete's racecard, he has a 35.31 c&d win against his name on Friday, April 25, a repeat of that would see him take this race.
