Two winners from three tips for Andy yesterday and he's got another trio for today.

TOWN PARKS (NAP) (best price 5-1) gained his first success in pretty gutsy fashion at Ludlow last time out and the confidence he would have gleaned from that initial victory can hopefully be carried forward to his handicap debut. A refugee from that top-quality novices’ hurdle won by Willoughby Court earlier in the campaign, Kerry Lee’s charge then had the misfortune to bump into the useful Strong Pursuit in another above-average affair at Hereford, so he certainly wasn’t winning out of turn at the Shropshire venue on the evidence of those previous performances. The feature of his victory 21 days ago was the speed figure he posted, and given that he achieved his number racing on the slowest part of the track around the inside (badly churned up by the last race), his effort was even more meritorious.
2.50 Ffos Las
There’s no denying WEST WIZARD (best price 11-4) was bitterly disappointing last time out at Wetherby, but at the same time, that poor run was also fairly predictable from a horse who can either hit the ball out of the park or run like a busted flush. Prior to that demise, Paul Morgan’s charge had shown the other side of his character with a smooth winning performance over today’s course and it’s the notion that a return to the south Wales gaff might just spark him back into life that the coat hook is hung on.
7.30 Newcastle
BURTONWOOD (best price 12-1) seems to have taken nicely to racing over the stiff nature of today’s track and having made an immediate impact on his first visit to the Gosforth Park venue, Julie Camacho’s inmate can relied upon to put up another bold show. The son of Acclamation impressed by his willing attitude in the latter stages of his win over the C&D two starts ago and although he couldn’t manage to follow up when returning here 13 days later, he still ran a commendable race over a trip that just caught him out for speed.
