Andy struck with a winning nap yesterday and he's got a pair of Fibresand bets for Tuesday.

CUSTARD THE DRAGON (NAP) (best price 11-4) has taken a real liking to today’s surface and he’s fancied to reverse recent form with Call Out Load returning to the scene of his happy hunting ground. A three-time winner on over C&D during the winter, his winning run came to an end when he could only manage fourth behind Among Angels two starts ago, but he still ran well considering he found himself in an uncompromising position at halfway. Although beaten fair and square by his main market rival at Wolverhampton last time out, John Mackie’s charge once again did really well to finish as close as he did to the winner after being caught in the backwash of horses dropping back into his lap rounding the home bend, and providing he can stay in touch with the likely strong pace early (Call Out Load and Bold Prediction bound to go hard), he should have every chance of running down his quarry in the straight.

EURATO (best price 5-2) finally got his just rewards for a series of fine placed efforts with a victory here last time out and teaming up once again with the useful apprentice Finley Marsh, the pair make plenty of appeal returning to the scene of that success. In what turned out to be a well-run affair despite the small field, Steve Gollings’ inmate impressed how well he stuck to the task at hand considering he looked to be fighting a losing battle with his main market rival Brigadoon for the majority of the journey, and that ability to keep grinding away when all seems lost are traits often associated with many of the previous winners at this track.
