A one-paced galloper, hopefully he will get a decent tempo throughout and if so, he should be capable of running to a decent standard.

KILGANER QUEEN (NAP) (best price 3-1) gained her just rewards for several useful efforts in defeat at Limerick last time out and now she has finally got her head in front, it should give her the confidence to go and grab further glory. A creditable fifth in a race working out incredibly well at Cork the time before (Nobody Home also easy winner since), Denise O’Shea’s inmate always travelled like the winner of a competitive handicap 11 days ago and with most of her rivals tonight, by and large, fairly disappointing and exposed sorts, she looks to have been handed another golden opportunity.

CHAMPAGNE HARMONY (best price 12-1) has taken really well to fences and arriving here off the back of a silky-smooth performance at Killarney last time out, a big run looks in the offing from this progressive and lightly-raced seven-year-old. Having already cut his teeth in a Grade A handicap Chase when a creditable fifth in a strongly-run affair at the Punchestown Festival, the son of Stowaway found life much easier when romping to victory at the Co Kerry track last time out and being as he’s one of the few in the line-up that has the potential to take it to another level, he makes plenty of appeal at his double-figure price. One place ahead of Champagne Harmony in that cracking Punchestown handicap chase was KILCARRY BRIDGE (best price 12-1) and he also has to come into the equation based on that effort alone. A veteran of 23 chases, John Ryan’s charge is a fairly reliable performer in these sort of events and having been victorious on his last visit to tonight’s venue, he can provide his local connections with plenty of cheer.
