Staying on gamely in the closing stages of a well-run affair at the West Country venue, John Flint’s inmate once again proved that despite a slightly awkward head carriage, the combination of cheekpieces and a tongue-tie are providing maximum results from this quirky seven-year-old. Prior to that gusty success, the son of Trans Island was unlucky to bump into the similarly progressive and well-handicapped Theo in another decent contest over tonight’s C&D and with stable’s useful conditional once again on board, the combination make plenty of each-way appeal at their top morning odds.
