LANDING ZONE (best price 5-1) has improved with each of his four outings so far to date and he now looks ready to take it a level whereby he’s got a chance of breaking his maiden tag. A mid-division finish in a 23-strong maiden towards the backend of last season gave out positive signals for this campaign and following a promising start at Cork back in April, he caught the eye by the staying on well from the back of the field over tonight’s course. Upped in trip for his latest outing at Leopardstown, Sheila Lavery’s colt once again showed a willing attitude in the latter stages of a competitive heat and with an extra two furlongs to race over this evening, this honest sort is fancied to hit the frame at the very least.

PASSING DREAM (best price 11-2) is beginning to get her act together big time, and a repeat of her C&D victory last time out will make her a real livewire to handle for the rest of tonight’s opponents. A real head-strong sort on the past, the fitting of a hood has helped her switch off in the early part of her races and the fruit of her labours were there for all to see 23 days ago. Always travelling sweetly, Seamus Mullins’ mare ended up beating a competitive field with a bit up her sleeve and with her ideal conditions (2m, good ground and on a left-handed track) all set in place for the second time in succession, it would come as no surprise if she were to offset her rise in the ratings.
