Although the extended 1m2f probably suits her best nowadays, as her overall speed figure and sectionals suggested last week she’s more than capable of running slick fractions and those numbers she posted can prove just as effective back over the mile.

LORD RAPSCALLION (best price 8-1) ran a good deal better than his finishing position indicated here last time and he rates a sporting choice to outrun his morning odds on his return visit.

Although it’s always difficult to estimate where a horse would have finished having met such interference, it’s probably not too far wide of the mark to say the son of Alhebayeb would have gone very close, so working on that basis, he looks overpriced running against a similar bunch of opponents.

CACHE QUEEN (best price 9/4) just had too much to do here last week after a stumble leaving the stalls put her firmly on the back foot, but still ran well given the circumstances, and she has every chance of returning to winnings ways if ridden in a more positive fashion.

Finding herself in rear turning for home off the back of a relatively slow pace here five days ago, the daughter of Kodiac had a mountain to climb as the field turned for home, but in putting in a power-packed finish up the inside of the track, she almost pulled off the unlikely feat. Prior to that useful effort, the daughter of Kodiac got engulfed by a horse who was running an amazing 34 and change for the last three furlongs, and on the evidence of both of those runs, she now looks ready for a step up in trip.
