Andy Holding's picked out one tip for today's racing at Kempton
Plenty of promise on show in this quality-looking maiden for three-year-old colts and IMRAHOR (best price 11-2) rates one of the likelier types based on his opening display on debut at Newbury last September.
Up against Cherokee Trail who arrived at the Berkshire track with previous experience under his belt following his victory at Ascot, Hugo Palmer’s colt was clearly up against a fair yardstick and even though he couldn’t quite get the better of the Ballydoyle-trained juvenile, he came out of the race with great credit. Travelling kindly throughout, the son of Kingman loomed up large going just as easily as the short-price favourite two out and if it wasn’t for showing distinct signs of greenness by drifting to his left inside the final furlong, he may well have obliged. Said to have done well over the winter, this scopey three-year-old looks just the type to do better in time and today’s test over a mile appears a decent starting point.
