After two winners yesterday, Architect Tips has five tips for today's racing.

The Ralph Beckett-trained PROSPEROUS VOYAGE (best price 7-1) caught the eye when given too much to do at Chester last time, where she made relentless progress from an unpromising position to get within a neck of the winner and is fancied to confirm that promise now stepping up in grade on better ground.
Her victory over a subsequent winner at Epsom on her penultimate outing looks solid form as the runner-up Aswan won a competitive nursery in decisive fashion at Goodwood next time. Her debut, when fourth at Doncaster, was another promising display as she kept on strongly in the final furlong and put that experience to good use when getting the better of a sustained duel with Aswan at Epsom. Her tough attitude was firmly in evidence that day and again at Chester last time, where her performance can be upgraded. This demands more, but she’s going the right way and, with potential for better, she is dangerous to dismiss and rates decent each-way value.

An excellent renewal of the tote Celebration Mile but, despite not being seen since his third in the Joel Stakes at Newmarket last autumn, the three-time Group 1 winner BENBATL (best price 11-4) could be set for further pattern-class success with plenty in his favour on his return to action under Oisin Murphy.
He hails from the Godolphin yard and even though he was last seen back in September 2020 in the Group 2 Joel Stakes at Newmarket, he’s a horse that has an outstanding record fresh which reads 311101 so the 337-day break shouldn’t be any sort of issue. Oisin Murphy, who has a good record in this race and has ridden him to various victories during his career, takes the ride and being rated 118, he does seem to have a bit in-hand on the official ratings if running to anywhere near his best form. His third in the Joel when last spotted in the UK is the best form on offer given the first and second were rated 120 and 116 and, in fact, he won that same race twelve months earlier on seasonal return when beating a 118-rated individual in the shape of King Of Comedy. He gets his ground, too, as he loves a fast surface and, although he’s conceding weight to some progressive youngsters, he’s the class act in the field and should be primed to launch a bold bid from the front.

First and foremost, East Street Revue has to be respected who has done this column wonders twice this term but last year’s winner is vulnerable under these faster conditions and, although shorter than ideal, I feel as though this is the time for SON AND SANNIE (best price 9-4) to finally get his head in front.
He was a winner off a mark of 78 early last year and has kept stronger company than today’s assignment since that victory without reward. His mark had continued to slide prior to almost capitalising on his reduced mark at York on his penultimate outing when just touched off by a neck in second to the 87-rated, Soul Seeker. The change in tactics seemed to really benefit this speedy youngster, who travelled into the race powerfully and may have won with a clearer passage, too. He failed to land a blow a couple of days ago when only fifth but this is the first time in his career that he’ll compete in a class-5 event and that should hopefully be enough to conspire him to victory, while the booking of PJ McDonald is no negative, either

TANGLED (best price 6-1) has been in cracking form this term, landing back-to-back Carlisle handicaps and turned in another solid display when going down by the narrowest of margins back at that venue last time and, from only a two-pound higher mark, the six-year-old looks set to make another bold bid at a track that clearly plays to his strengths having won twice over course-and-distance last year.
He has won two of his three starts over track and trip and was unfortunate to not have won when last spotted at his beloved Carlisle, when mugged in the closing stages. He’s gone up another couple of pounds but he’s very well treated based on historical form given his peak rating of 106 back in the day. This is competitive, don’t get me wrong, but he’s in the form of his life this term and the Karen Tutty-trained tough campaigner should get a good pace to aim at which can see him pose another serious threat in the final outcome of this event.
A lot of these fillies in the tote Prestige Stakes have serious potential but HELLO YOU (best price 7-1) has the best form on offer having acquitted herself well in multiple group races since winning on debut, including when runner-up at Royal Ascot in the Albany Stakes and can go close to winning this with the step up to seven-furlongs expected to bring about further improvement.
A filly by Invincible Spirit, who created an excellent impression when winning at Wolverhampton, she built on that promise when placed in both strong renewals of the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Group 2 Duchess Of Cambridge at Newmarket. The ground was probably soft-enough for her at Ascot, too, so her performance can be upgraded, while the same can be applied to her effort when third at Newmarket, where she raced keenly throughout but kept on nicely to not be beaten all that far in the end. She then joined David Loughnane, and nothing went right for her when sixth in the Group 2 Sky Bet Lowther Stakes last time, where she failed to get a clear run on three occasions before coming home strongly when the race was pretty much all over. The extra furlong today alongside the drop in grade should be right up her street and, providing she gets a clearer sight of things, she could have too much class for this field and holds rock-solid each-way credentials under Rossa Ryan.
