STAR HARBOUR (best price 7-2) has had a busy campaign but seems to be thrive on racing as he’s been holding his form extremely well, including when a close-up seventh in a very competitive handicap at the Curragh last time under Colin Keane and, with the drop in trip bound to suit, the pair can make the most of this easier opportunity.

This son of Sea The Stars has already won twice this term and produced a career-best when fifth of 27 in the Irish Cambridgeshire here last month when beaten only four-lengths. He was last seen finishing a creditable seventh at the Curragh when beaten only a length and may have won that race if it was a furlong less or so, as he travelled powerfully throughout the event, hit the front at the two-furlong pole and was only caught in the final half-a-furlong. The drop back to a mile looks a positive move as his last victory came over this distance and he should take some beating while his trainer is enjoying a good spell of things at the moment.
