The Alan King trained Her Indoors (best priced at 9/2) ended last season in good form on the flat and now looks well handicapped on her return from juvenile hurdling last season. The daughter of Raven’s Pass won a fillies handicap at Lingfield last season off a mark of 70 before finishing 2nd over 1m6f at Chelmsford off a mark of 74 when only beaten ½ length.

Her Indoors was sent juvenile hurdling by connections and she performed consistently well with form figures of 22101 with her only disappointing run coming in the Boodles Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Following her victory at Cheltenham in April, she is now rated 133 over hurdles which makes her well handicapped on her return to the flat on adjusted figures. She was a winner on soft ground last season over hurdles at Doncaster so these conditions should suit her well and I expect her to prove hard to beat despite now returning from 174 days off the track.

Tide Of Time (best priced at 11/4) was a winning selection for us a week ago at Bellewstown and the gelding should hold strong claims of following up off only a 2lb higher mark. The Eddie Lynam trained son of Choisir is a four time course winner at Navan with his latest victory at this track coming over this distance of 5 ½ furlongs off this same mark of 84.

Colin Keane rode Tide Of Time that day but Dylan Browne-McMonagle has developed a good relationship with the gelding this season and takes off a handy 3lb. His latest victory at the track came on soft ground so we know he will handle the yielding conditions in this race and I expect him to follow up his victory from a week ago.

The Oliver Greenall trained El Borracho (best priced at 7/4) has been running consistently well this year over fences with form figures of 122311 and now looks extremely well handicapped back over hurdles. The progressive six-year-old has won his previous two starts at Sedgefield and Kelso easily by 11 lengths and 4 ¼ lengths respectively and is now rated 127 over the larger obstacles.

El Borracho now reverts back to hurdling off a mark of 111 which is 16lb lower and he should prove hard to beat if the course avoids most of the forecast rain. He has shown all of his best form on good ground this season but was a NR at Bangor on soft ground in May so if the rain arrives, he may not run.
