NADA TO PRADA (best price 13-8) was unlucky to bump into a subsequent winner in the shape of Little River Bay on chase debut at Worcester, where he jumped so well for a debutant in this sphere and travelled the best only to get mugged in the closing stages as the pair drew clear of the remainder and this promising six-year-old mare gets the vote to go one better and make a successful handicap debut.
She won her only bumper outing on debut last term and won two of her four starts over hurdles, including when winning a listed event in which she defeated the useful Rayna’s World. Her third in the Grade 2 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle trial can be upgraded as she was hampered on the home-bend but kept on strongly all the way to the line and had four lengths to spare over Anythingforlove, who is decent mare in her own right. The form was boosted by the winner Falvoir scoring on chase debut and given how well she acquitted herself in defeat on chase debut last time, the recent wind surgery and combination of fitness and ease in grade can see her shrug off her opposition and make it four wins from just seven starts for connections.
