Architect Tips is back with three tips for today's racing.

WILLIAM CODY (best price 9-1) has placed in two of his four starts so far in this sphere and came very close to winning for the first time last month, pushing a subsequent winner to a half-a-length second. The winner has recently defied a mark of 101 to strengthen the form and Pam Sly’s five-year-old looks very nicely treated off only a pound higher in this weak event. A reproduction of that latest effort with improvement to come should definitely see this Gelding by Westerner firmly in the mix, which will hopefully be enough to go one better.

HAJEY (best price 4-1) always looked in control when taking up the running off the final bend en route to victory over today's course-and-distance last month. The form of that latest win has subsequently been boosted by the runner-up Son Of The Somme, who bolted up off a mark of 99. He’s been hit with a 7Ib rise for that “neck” victory which might seem harsh to some but the manner in which he travelled smoothly last time suggests he’s got plenty more to offer. He can prove that win to be no flash in the pan by following up in today’s event under Tom Midgley
16.40 Sedgefield
The ground unfortunately dried out for BANDIT D’AINAY (best price 9-1) last time who had been well-supported prior to returning a well-beaten fifth but the anticipated softer conditions will be right up his street who’s best form has come under conditions softer or worse. While he’s yet to match last season’s his pretty smart French form, he’s extremely well-handicapped off a mark of 89 for trainer Micky Hammond and is expected to make more of an impact in this average-looking affair.
