Just the three runners go to post for this small-field competitive handicap chase but ORRISDALE (best price 6-4) impressed with a front-running exhibition round of jumping en route to getting off the mark over C&D a couple of months ago and is fancied to strike again in a race might be able to dominate. He has been running fairly well off higher marks prior to scoring by two lengths from Switch Hitter, who went close at Newbury over the weekend off a mark of 133. On a line through the runner-up, Jonjo O'Neill's' charge has remained pretty well-treated off 130 and a 3Ib rise for that latest breakthrough victory in this sphere shouldn’t prevent him from making another bold effort from the front. He can get the better of dual course winner Neville’s Cross on these terms.

It’s good to see Kim Bailey’s horses running very well of late and his only runner on the card I SPY A DIVA (best price 5-1) has to be considered dropping into this grade under David Bass. She finished runner-up in two of her first three starts over hurdles and she wasn’t disgraced when third on handicap debut last-time-out despite the ground being far from ideal. The return to better ground going back up in distance will definitely suit this mare by Telescope, while her one-length second to Good Luck Charm (rated 116) here in February is strong form, so she appears to be the biggest danger to the favourite and can go well back against her own sex for the in-form Bass and Bailey combination.
