Steve Ryder is back with three tips for today's action.
14:19 Catterick
The Roger Fell trained Primo (best priced at 5/2) put in a huge career best last time when getting of the mark at Beverley last time and he should prove hard to beat off the same mark. The three-year-old had shown very little since joining from George Boughey but won easily over 5f last time in an apprentice handicap under Jonny Peate.
Despite being sent off 18/1 for that race, Primo always caught the eye in the contest and eased clear by 2 ½ lengths at the finish. The handicapper has raised him 8lbs for that success but he gets to run off his previous mark here so he should prove hard to beat with Jonny Peate claiming his full 5lbs in this race.
14:35 Epsom
The Richard Spencer trained Revich (best priced at 15/2) is better known for his exploits at Chester but he did win his one and only previous start at Epsom. The six-year-old has won three times at Chester showing his liking for turning left-handed tracks and looks overpriced for this contest following a good run last time at Chester.
Revich ended last season with a victory at Ayr off a mark of 92 before needing his reappearance in the Lincoln at Doncaster in March. He was only beaten ½ length in 3rd at Chester last time off a mark of 95 and he should run well off the same mark in this race with five places on offer.
15:29 Catterick
The Tim Easterby trained Music Society NAP (best priced at 6/4) bounced back to form last time at Haydock and he should prove hard to beat down in class off the same mark. The seven-year-old gelding finished 2nd in this race last season off a mark of 79 and he runs in it this year off a 3lb lower mark.
Music Society finished 2nd by a length at Haydock last time off a mark of 76 in a 0-95 handicap and he now drops into this 0-80 handicap off the same mark. The handicapper has actually raised him 2lbs for his latest run but he gets to run here off his previous mark of 76 so he is 2lbs “well in” at the weights and I expect him to prove hard to beat.

Steve Ryder's Epsom Oaks Ante-Post Selection
John & Thady Gosden look to have a strong hand in the Epsom Oaks this year with Emily Upjohn (Evens) and Nashwa (9/2) heading the market but I am willing to take a chance on TUESDAY (tipped at 12/1, now 9/1) who has shown good form in both the English and Irish 1000 Guineas so far this season. The daughter of Galileo is a full sister to the Oaks winner Minding giving the hope that this extra distance could bring about some improvement from her.
Tuesday won a maiden on her reappearance easily at Naas before finishing a two length 3rd in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. She finished 2nd in the Irish 1000 Guineas at the weekend but looks set to make a quick reappearance in her third classic of the season. Aidan O’Brien has won this race recently with lesser fancied stablemates such as Forever Together and Snowfall I am hoping Tuesday can emulate those and win this at a double figure price.
