Leg 1 Selections: Princess Naomi

It’s hard to see past PRINCESS NAOMI, who is a fast-improving filly and comfortably had one of today’s rivals in behind when doubling her tally at Beverley last time. She brings the best form to the table and won easily on her only previous start on the all-weather at Chelmsford. Despite conceding weight all round to her rivals here, she is fancied to complete the hat-trick in the opener.

Leg 2 Selections: Ferrari Queen

FERRARI QUEEN looked a useful prospect when making a winning debut at Doncaster and this filly by Decorated Knight sets a good standard of those with experience. She has a penalty to contend with this time, but she’s drawn well in stall six and Andrea Atzeni has been booked to ride. Unless one of the newcomers turns out to be above average, she should go close to maintaining her unbeaten record.

Leg 3 Selections: Strawberry Belle

STRAWBERRY BELLE has posted two good efforts in defeat at Newbury and Newmarket and the form of his debut third has worked out well with the runner-up filling the same spot in the Super Sprint behind Eddie’s Boy. She’s Dean well in stall 1 and her trainer Patrick Owens is in fantastic form (three winners from his last four runners at the time of writing). Dropped in grade on her all-weather debut, she should make another bold bid to potentially get off the mark under Louis Steward here.

Leg 4 Selections: Sanks A Million, Stunt Game

SANKS A MILLION was runner-up in his first two starts before scoring from the front at Chester last-time-out when showing a willing attitude to see off Rock Opera. From the box seat in stall 1, he’s sure to be thereabouts. STUNT GAME has finished runner-up in three consecutive starts and should appreciate the step up in distance here. He looks the biggest danger to the former.

Leg 5 Selections: Nationwide, Scot’s Grace

NATIONWIDE beat a 90-rated horse on his only previous start over course-and-distance and has won three of his six starts. Since completing his hat-trick on the all-weather, he’s caught the eye in two runs on the turf, including behind Gale Force Maya last-time-out. He would have finished closer with a clear passage, as he stayed on strongly in the closing stages. Back on this surface off a pound lower mark with a record of 3/3 over this trip on the surface, he’s a key player in this race. I can see him going well. SCOTS GRACE won over course-and-distance on her debut and may have won a strong-looking Listed event here next time without being badly hampered a furlong out. She’s improved with each start this term and ran well from a bad draw to take third at Chester last time. Back at this venue from a good draw off the same mark with her trainer in great form, she is a massive danger.

Leg 6 Selections: Silver Dollar, Sir Gregory

SILVER DOLLAR was progressive on the all-weather at the start of the year and while he’s not landed a blow in three starts on the turf since, he’s a pound lower than when winning over track and trip back in April. He can make his presence felt in this race. SIR GREGORY is another course-and-distance winner, who’s been consistent in defeat of late and should be in the mix from a decent draw with a five pounds claimer booked to ride. He is the second option for leg six.
