COOPERATION (NAP) (best price 2/1) arrives here in rampant form thanks to two back-to-back successes and safe in the knowledge that Mike Murphy & Michael Keady’s gelding is just as effective on today’s surface than on turf, he’s fancied to complete the hat trick.

A dual winner for previous connections, including one over today’ C&D, the son of Mehmas has taken his game to an even higher level since joining his new stable and with the hood seemingly being responsible for his new-found improvement, it’s easy to see why he’s allowed to stay on the treadmill for the time being.

Good on the numbers at Nottingham on his first outing since the switch, the four-year-old was just as impressive in all departments on his return visit last week and with his extremely competent young pilot asked to maintain his association with his mount, the combination are worth keeping on side until proven otherwise.

HAARAR (best price 9/4) was seen to really good effect in a proper test of stamina here last time out and with the strong possibility of even more to come, Michael Bell’s gelding has the scope to initiate another positive result.

A winner on his first start of the campaign at Windsor, the son of Muhaarar wasn’t quite at his best on his next two outings, but it didn’t take him long to find his feet again on his first visit to today’s venue and with him being the only one in the field to have raced on the testing polytrack surface (been riding slow here recently due to lack of rain), that valuable experience will hopefully stand him in good stead.

Moreover, the time figure he produced was a useful one for the grade and with only minimal punishment dished out when it could have been a lot worse, he’s fancied to grind out another success.
